GCB Real Estate was founded in 2005 by Greg Blanton to serve the growing Charleston business community. Prior to founding the company, Greg had worked in the construction and real estate industries for decades. He saw a need for a commercial real estate advisory firm with a deep understanding of the construction process, and sought to fill that need with a new company. Initially, GCB Real Estate worked closely with property owners seeking real estate advisory services.

It soon became apparent that tenants and buyers could also benefit from our expertise, and shortly thereafter the firm expanded their practice areas to include tenant advisory services and buyer representation services. Starting in 2012, the firm expanded again by bringing on Jennie Blanton and Jordan Blanton as affiliated licensees. At this point, the firm expanded their offerings again to include property management and development services.

Today, GCB is a full service real estate brokerage that offers advisory services and owns several investment properties throughout the Lowcountry.
